Pack your backpack and clean your hiking boots, are you ready to live an unforgettable experience?

Spring and autumn are the best seasons for those who want to discover natural ledges, the old trailsleft bycharcoal burners and the wild canyons that go from the plateau to the sea. Selvaggio Blu is the name that first explorers gave to this high passage, in the past it was called “s’andala ‘e marina” by the shepherds from Baunei: it basically is a web of trails and it snakes along the 40 Kilometers of coast from Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Luna. It is an amazing trekking experience which lasts five days, among cliffs, climbs on double rope, old folds, woods and natural caves.

Baunei area also offers less difficult hikes that let you discover the secrets of the Supramonte in half a day. Cala Goloritzé, Portu Quau and the ledge of Giradili are only some of the trails that you can hike over without a guide.

This is the right place if you like limestone cliffs, rock-climbing on walls above the sea under the sun, in a unique and wild location. About 400 single pitchesin different walls scattered across Baunei region and 30 long routes (the pinnacle of Cala Goloritzé or the climbing wall of Punta Giradili are just some of them) are the ingredients for a holiday of sun and climbs in one of the most stunning spots of the Mediterranean.

You can also explore the 216 square Kilometers of Baunei and Santa Maria Navarrese area in the saddle of a horse or mountain biking, or visit Golgo Plateau on board the Trenino Supramonte, an original and attractive alternative.
